Shipping data from Kpler indicates that over 20 ships traversed the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, the highest number since March 1st.

    Of the ships that passed through on Saturday, five had recently loaded goods from Iran, including oil products and metals. Three of these vessels were liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers, with one destined for China and another for India.

    The Panama-flagged tanker Crave, transporting LPG from the United Arab Emirates, is en route to Indonesia. The tankers Akti A and Athina, both carrying refined products loaded in Bahrain, are bound for Mozambique and Thailand, respectively.

    The Liberian-flagged tanker Navig8 Macallister is transporting approximately 500,000 barrels of UAE naphtha to Ulsan, South Korea. The Liberian-flagged Very Large Crude Carrier Fpmc C Lord is carrying roughly 2 million barrels of Saudi crude, heading to Mailiao port in Taiwan.

    The Indian-flagged Desh Garima, loaded with around 780,000 barrels of UAE’s Das crude, is destined for Sri Lanka. The vessel Ruby, carrying Qatari fertilizer, is en route to the UAE. The tanker Merry M is transporting petroleum coke from Saudi Arabia to Ravenna, Italy.
