My Nationwide renter's insurance covers "biological deterioration."
- What is this?
- What exclusions apply?
- Do other big US renter's insurers cover this? I don't see it mentioned when I look at competitors quotes.
It sounds like it's like, when my own negligence causes mold damage to a common area or something? Not sure.

Without the actual policy language, it would be difficult for us to provide any type of proper coverage analysis for you.
It *sounds* like biological deterioration covers, among other things, mold; but you need to read the actual policy and endorsement language to see what coverage is afforded for you.
