What to avoid in crypto as a beginner?

Been in the crypto space for 7months but I just recently engaged in this platform, most of the time this is where I check projects before jumping in. I've seen plenty of beginners here to which I still consider myself as well, although I have few assets in holdings at the moment. I just want to learn from seasoned, experts, or even casuals on what to actually avoid or mostly known as beginners mistakes.

I still believe that DYOR is top 1 best thing to do, would love to read the "DON'TS"!
