With 0 experience, do some research first. I recently found a group that helped me setup a MEV, but I don’t think I can share links here. I have been making some money, but I also wouldn’t call it passive income. It does require some maintenance, but it’s been worth it for sure. Creating your own is also an option, but I personally have no skillset to do so and purchasing one, is quite expensive from what I read.

Considering crypto price swings, MEV bots will wreck you if you:
1. Treat this like passive income
2. Don’t fully understand your strategy before coding it
Start with the basics. Use Google or AI to walk through something concrete like Pine Script on TradingView (or even python) connected to an exchange like Coinbase or Binance.
Considering you’re a complete noob, you’ll want a third-party intermediary like Alertatron or TradersPost to bridge signals and execution between TradingView and your exchange.
Quick recap:
1. Build your strategy in TradingView (Pine Script) or Python
2. Send signals directly or through Alertatron/TradersPost
3. Execute trades on your exchange (Coinbase, Binance, etc.)
–> there are tons of different ways to do what you’re asking but this framework ^^ is a good place to start getting familiar with the landscape.
