Hello, I’m a private pilot who puts heavy spend at my home FBO on Aviation fuel. I’ve been looking for a card that would give me a multiplier on that recurring purchase. I’ve noticed in my American Express app, it’s coded as ‘Transportation – Air Services.’ Does anybody know if that would fall under the Amex Green 3x on Transit category?

Likely not— though I don’t buy aviation fuel that much.
But the blue business plus or blue business cash are excellent for this sort of thing and will remove any question. 2x on all eligible purchases, and it stacks MR along with your green. If you end up cancelling the green at some point, your MRs are also safe.
