I've had the NFCU Flagship Visa for a couple of years now and just got the Amazon Prime Visa a few days ago to take advantage of the 5% cash back on Amazon purchases, including Audible.

After I was approved, the Amazon Prime Visa was automatically switched to the default payment method on Amazon–which is fine, since that's what I want.

But here's the point of my post: it also became the default payment method for my Amazon Prime subscription, which I definitely don't want! I of course want to get the $139 statement credit from using the NFCU Flagship Visa instead.

I switched my membership renewal back to the NFCU Flagship card (which didn't effect the default payment method for other Amazon purchases), but I wanted to draw this to the attention of anyone who has the NFCU Flagship card and recently got the Amazon card–don't forget to change your Prime subscription payment method back to NFCU!!
