So I went to donate some money to my niece's dance program a few months ago and a card auto filled so I used it to donate the $30. I have alerts setup on all my cards no matter how much I spend I get a push notification. I didn't get one which seemed weird so I looked at the receipt and noticed the last 4 match my old card number from a few years ago. I still have the credit card account open just an updated card number. This was a few months ago and it never showed up on my statement. I told my sister if there was any issue on her end to let me know so I could send the money again. Kinda forgot about it until today I was ordering food through an app and checked out and realized no notification after submitting transaction. Not sure how many times this may have happened. Where are these transactions going? Is there a time limit that they have to provide me a statement?

That is weird. Who is the card issuer? Did you call them? If someone changes card number due to fraud, old number would still be active? That is counterproductive.
