Hello! I’m currently pregnant so I know that I have a large hospital bill on the way. With my first, I applied for the capital one venture card right before he was born, then put the entire bill on the card and was able to take a trip to Japan because of the miles I got from it. I want to do something like that again but now that I have a travel card, I’m looking for a different type of card that offers a similar reward where if you spend a certain amount of money within the first couple of months you gain more points.
The only other card I currently have is a basic discover card that I started when I was in college. Thank you!

Pretty smart move with the first pregnancy bill tbh. Most cards have those signup bonuses where you spend like 3-4k in first 3 months and get bunch of points back. Cash back cards might work better this time since you already got travel covered – some give like 200-300 dollars bonus after you hit spending threshold. Just make sure you can pay it off quick since hospital bills are already expensive enough without interest piling on top
