With the upcoming Google i/o in May I am wondering if this will be another moment where Google announces "We've done it again!" and reasserts their placement in the AI race? While still under-performing in independent agentic use, Google clearly has a research and data edge no company could compete with. Is this the year they finally announce dominance and release the construct they've been brewing? Or are we looking at another year of relative disappointment from DeepMind?

    1. I hope so. My January 2027 call is down 16%. Which is better than -48% it was recently

Maybe consult with an astrologist. Dreads, patchouli and crystals will be able to tell you

    3. Is your mouth at least size 7 in case you have to put the shoe in when they for some reason tank?

probably gonna be another underwhelming demo where they show off something that works great in controlled environment but falls apart when real users touch it

    5. Goog and NOW announced an agentic partnership today. Might not be a good day given what is happening to NOW, but your thesis is spot on. I am long shares 500+

Bro Google “dominates” AI every year in slides and blog posts and then fumbles the actual product rollouts 😂

They’ve 100% got the research and data, they just move like a boomer megacorp while everyone else ships janky but usable stuff first. I’d trade half their papers for one killer product that doesn’t get killed in 18 months.

Size 7 shoe means you’re getting front row seats to another overhyped keynote and a 5 percent pop that fades by Friday.
