Just want to put this out there as I was googling and scrolling through the posts on here before I applied for a citi strata card.

I got two Boa cards a little over a year ago. 12-14 months
Got a chase card around a month ago.
Today did the pre screen for the citi strata card and they told I was approved.
So I went ahead and filed for it. No problem no hassle.
Came back with a 7500 credit limit. 800 temporary I suppose till I get the card
Should mention that my fico score was 820 on my last discover statement. I have read that some pre screen they only get approved for the Costco card…idk this was not true for me.

nice to see someone with good credit score actually getting the card they applied for instead of being switched to something else. i’ve been wanting to apply for citi card but was worried about their approval process after reading so many horror stories on this sub
7500 limit is pretty decent for first citi card too, especially since you have solid credit history with the other cards
