Hello, I'm looking into getting a Palladium in the upcoming months as I'll be renting, from what i understant, there's a Points accelerator feature which makes your 2x catch-all into a 3x catch-all for $5k of spend, you can do this 5x for up to $25k of spend in a year,

Considering how Bilt points are the most valuable points currency, why do more people not switch to this card? Is there something I'm missing?

Also want to know about this. I have thought about getting the card a lot, I pay 2500 in rent and could probably get 1500-2000 other spend on it a month. Would it be worth? Can anyone with experience with the card lmk if this is a no brainer or what 🙏🏼

    2. I have it; it’s a great card with lots of perks. There have been a lot of customer service issues (which seem to have been mostly growing pains), and there are some quirks with the issuer (no upgrading/downgrading the card, can only be approved for one card ever). Some of the major problems people have faced include being double-charged for rent/mortgage or Bilt losing the rent/mortgage payment but still charging the customer. Those are MAJOR issues, no doubt, but they seem to be few and far between. I will say I’ve had an excellent experience with this card.

I strongly suggest jumping over to r/BiltRewards to read through the progression. It’s a lot to read, but it’s a pretty thorough risk register.

    3. It’s a really good card, but the rollout was a mess and there are some concerns about the backing card company and customer service, AFAIK

    4. Yes, palladium is an overpowered catch all card for many, 3.33x on all spend up to 75% of housing amount.

Folks have been concerned about their customer service and many people were confused by their rollout of the new cards.

Palladium has been a great card for me so far, no issues so far with my experience.

    5. More people don’t switch to Bilt because the issuer “Cardless” isn’t as reliable as either Chase or Amex. It’s has been great for me but I have heard others had been double charged when they switched from Bilt 1.0 to 2.0 and or had there purchase decline and long list of issues and have had no help from support.
