Hello! So, got into a MINOR fender bender right before voluntary surrendering my vehicle. I returned it because i couldn’t afford the insurance on a new vehicle so no insurance at the time of the accident (yes, I know I shouldn’t have been driving im sorry). We exchanged info at the time of the accident and her car literally only had two dents the size of maybe a golf ball. Told the lady I did not have insurance at the time and now she hired an accident attorney. Like fr??? I told her I was willing to work with her to get her vehicle fixed and still went that route. How screwed am I from yeah you screwed to MAN GET THAT BOOTY READY.

    Really???

      1) Soft tissue injuries are not immediately evident and it doesn’t take a large impact to cause soft tissue injuries
      2) If the other driver is trying to claim medical against their own uninsured motorists policy, the other lawyer may need to actually evidence that you don’t have insurance by serving you first before going after the other driver’s insurance
      3) FYI, if you can’t afford insurance on a vehicle you’re driving, you can’t afford the vehicle you’re driving. It’s morally irresponsible to put others livelihoods and property at risk because of your negligence.
