My Take:
As someone who teaches macroeconomics by following the physics of these systems, who's small business draws capital into The City of Lakewood, Colorado from around the globe, this is the ultimate "signal." For years, Bitcoin was dismissed as a toy or a tool for criminals. Now, the highest levels of the U.S. military are acknowledging it as a strategic security system—what Major Jason Lowry calls "Softwar." [11:19]
But there’s a deeper, more human layer here. The video features anthropologist Natalie Smolinsky, who argues that the "financialization of everything" has eroded our local communities and "third spaces." [05:33] This is why I am so focused on rebuilding our local infrastructure, like the planetarium. We all need to talk more about God in society…who cares if people get "uncomfortable".
The narrator was a bit too preachy for me. Various communities throughout the country and world were terrible places before covid shutdowns and ramped up global crises. I usually don't watch simply bitcoin videos to feel guilty about being in this unavoidable financial system.
So now Hurley is on SB? He was on Swan before, not too long ago, and took a breather because he wanted to spend time with family, which is a truly noble cause.

She’s right. We can’t vote our way out of this. You need to create your own sovereignty. That’s bitcoin , gold, silver. We should all be concerned when the military starts talking about power projection using Bitcoin. Thankfully, the US military has proven to be completely inept at developing weapons or in cryptography.
All of this sounds exactly like a script written by AI. A normal human being doesn’t have so many phrases where they say “it’s not X it’s Y!” It just sounds inauthentic.
