we're thinking of adding a bidet to our master bath, curious how future buyers might view the addition. I've heard that once you have one it's tough to have a bathroom without it.

Are bidets in a bathroom positive/neutral/negative to most buyers

    1. We have one in our master bathroom . I was somewhat concerned that they would ask us to replace it with a regular toilet seat , but no one had any concerns. We closed on our house yesterday. Bidet still attached. I also will never be without a bidet in the master suite

    2. I have(a cheap one) and want a bidet in my future house. But it does give me some amount of ick that someone else has already used it. I know they can be cleaned but that’s just how I feel about it. I don’t know that it would prevent me from buying a house. I don’t think I would ask the seller to replace it.

We have a bidet toilet seat, and I can’t be without. But if you’re talking about adding a separate bidet plus toilet, I think that would be a downer for buyers who don’t use a bidet. And honestly, not many do.
