Because Bezos has it. And Musk and that little freak running facebook. That’s why we don’t have retirement accounts.
We just need to give businesses. some good tax breaks and the job creators. That’s the only answer.
Clearly not the social security fix Bernie Sanders proposed a few years ago that would’ve kept the program solvent. That’s un-American and unfair to the ultra-rich. Those types of policies are so bad we can’t ever even try them and should instead only do the same tax breaks for corporations and wealthy families over and over again. It’s going to work eventually.
There was a post on xennials a while back about their retirement plans. It was honestly very sobering.
Let’s just say the majority featured a last hurrah on credit card then watching their final sunrise on a beach with a note and a boom stick.
Others are selfishly spending everything they have and expecting their kids to foot their retirement bill. I have a friend who’s a doctor, absolutely no thanks to her parents, and they expect her to sacrifice for them when they never did for her. When she was struggling to make tuition, they went out and bought a hummer during a gas crisis.
