The effective annual fee is $100, but that includes unlimited access to priority pass lounges/experiences/ and restaurants for up to 4 people. This is pretty solid in the US, but specifically much better internationally. There is no other card better for international travel, in my opinion.
I seem to be in the minority, but even without the higher tiers and enhanced earning rates, this is still a pretty solid deal.

i actually looked at this one few months back when i was planning europe trip but ended up going different direction. the lounge access for 4 people is definitely nice feature, especially if you travel with friends or family often.
problem for me was the earning structure wasn’t great for my spending patterns – i put most expenses in restaurants and groceries so other cards made more sense. but if you’re doing lot of international travel the lounge access alone probably pays for itself pretty quick
I pair this one with BILT Palladium. Didn’t even bother activating priority pass on the Bilt. Also a very good credit card to charge tax on.
It’s a good card but the issue for me is I have an unlimited 5% back travel card, which outdoes the effective 4.4% rewards from the PRE with my honors. Additionally I already have the UCR for the 2.625% catch-all.
The only benefit the PRE would actually give me is the priority passes, which isn’t enough justification.
