Fast food has gotten too expensive especially when adding in delivery charges.
They use garbage ass pepperoni now.
Subscriptions, eating out, take out and entertainment are the first things to go in a recession.
In my neighborhood there are a couple of fast food burger places, the chains that everyone knows, and there’s one burger place that for four euros more has a luxury burger with a drink and is much better prepared in a friendlier atmosphere. Fast food has become very expensive.
Dominos is still fairly cheap(especially for pick up deals).
one thing a lot of people seem to ignore how that we have more and more options all the time. compare how many fast food or casual sit down restaurants there are per capita today compared to 2010 compared to 2000 compared to 1990
There are so many more options for consumers. You add that to the fact people might be pinching their pennies a little bit and you understand why we can’t always see sales increase. In fact, I think one reason sales have increased at some restaurants is because of higher menu prices, not more customers.
In my community, there are so many ‘fast food’ type places I have never heard of before that are popping up
another thing that blows my mind is how many people use uber eats and door dash spending way more money than they need to for the convience of getting it delivered.
I personally have never been a big fan of their sauce last time I had it. Maybe it’s changed but I wasn’t in any hurry to go back and find out

I used to order pizza on Fridays. My favorite place went out of business. We had a Doninos. They charge 31€ for a medium supreme. I’ve been getting a great frozen pizza for 3.5€. If I had more work and more money I would order more often. But I don’t so I don’t. I like spending money. And I’m happy to work. There’s just not much work. And when there is pay isn’t great.
That’s half of it… the quality is way WAY down as well, so if I do eat out once in a while then I’ll spend a few extra bucks and get decent food. Paying $25 for one shit cheese pizza is ridiculous.
I think #1 is that for delivery I can now get 40+ local pizzerias in my city as opposed to just Dominos. I used to order Dominos at least monthly but haven’t in like 5 years.
Their sauce is boring and their pepperoni is bland

They have the single most insane delivery surcharges of any chain restaurant.
Also, that shit isn’t pizza.
Too expensive and everyone’s on glp1’s. No one wants to be overweight.
