    1. Let me guess: Like SpaceX it’ll have an insane unjustifiable valuation, indices will ease their admission requirements, so pension funds can be abused as exit liquidity and retail becomes the bagholder. A tale as old as time. It is as tiring as it is infuriating.

    2. I think it’s clear they modeled high market share while taking traditional search market away from Googs. They did not expect Gemini market share to grow to 25% nor did they expect Anthropic to gain so much commercial market share. OpenAI is now attempting to gain back commercial share momentum while postponing some of their non-commercial use case features such as adult mode.

I think they should go all in on targeting the consumer market instead of the commercial market but that is difficult when they don’t have a consumable hardware product that filters users to their model. Nor do I think they want to become the “porn LLM” anyway.

    3. Always a good sign when basically the only company that is currently showing their AI revenue and growth projections falls short.

Wall Street 2026: “We can’t keep up with the demand for compute!”

Wall Street 2028: “What the fuck are we going to do with all this hardware?!”

IPO is the final grift. The middle class will be the bag holders. Can’t wait for the taxpayer bailouts of these companies.
