I currently own only 9 shares of this stock, and I’m down about $275 overall. Since I’m still pretty new to investing, I’m unsure what the best move is in this situation. Part of me thinks I should just leave the money in and wait to see if the stock recovers over time, especially since markets can go up and down. At the same time, I’m also worried that it could keep dropping, which would mean losing even more money. Because I don’t have much experience yet, it’s hard for me to tell whether this is just a normal short-term loss or a sign that I made a bad investment decision. I also don’t know if it’s better to hold onto stocks long-term or cut losses early and move that money into something more stable. Right now, I feel stuck between being patient and wanting to avoid further losses. I think I need to learn more about how stocks behave and maybe look into the company itself before deciding whether to sell or keep holding my shares.

While not ideal, this fund has provided us with a small positive ROI. Still months away from house money but we have stopped investing into this fund and just take 100% of the weekly distributions and buy other funds.

Learn to think in terms of percentages all things financial. Being up or down some random dollar amount means less than knowing percent gain /loss.
