Hi guys, not particularly asking for an advice here but i've always considered myself as a diamond hand, but lately i've kinda lost faith in Ethereum, i've been holding since 2018 and i've made almost zero unrealized profits since I bought at my initial

I've ended up to a deep financial crisis, I need to sell my holdings, sold my watches already but still hesitating to capitulate about ETH, if you were me, would you sell now?

Should I sell my ETH? (serious)

    1. If you’re in a deep financial crisis then yes take care of business first. But imo we’re on the precipice of real world adoption, it’s like selling NDVIDIA the year before ChatGPT launches

    2. Research about Canton, it feels like a better eth version for me, that has real world applications. Broadridge dlr already uses it.

At this point it’s a shit token, though the technology may be useful. I bought in 2021 and am down 48%

Not worth selling for me. So I’ll ride this pig out like a wild sow that it is.

If you bought in 2018, how on earth do you not have unrealized profit? The price range that year was ~$80-1400.

Anyways… there is a lot wrong here from an investment standpoint. No, you should not sell the bottom of the cycle. You should sell when you’ve reached either your target price (be it top or bottom), your target age, or whatever metric you chose when you entered this position. Not because it gives you the ick right now.

However, I don’t think this is an investment question. I think this is a personal finance questions. If I were you, I would remedy that financial crisis taking whatever means necessary to bring myself out of crisis.
