After a long strung out divorce, I took on a lot of debt I finally paid it off and was able to get my credit score back up in the 800's in 2024. I had only two credit cards before that (maxed out from the divorce). I now have no debt at all. I applied and got approved for many cards in 2025, mostly due to this subreddit. It can be addicting. I pay all my cards down each month and never carry a balance. I was looking at the BOA Custom Cash 6% back on online purchases. I was also looking at the AA World Elite since I am flying American Airlines more and lounge access is very important to me since I live in a remote area and often have long layovers. Online is my primary way of spending. I would be surprised if I got approved for either of these but who knows. Figured I'd see what others have to say. If my strategy was to try for both, what would be the best way. I am currently 6/12 personal and 5/12 business. 7/24 personal and 5/24 business. Beginning August I will be 1/2 personal and 2/12 business.
I do have cash to deposit in BoA or another bank if that would help.
I mostly wondering strategy wise, the it is the safest to apply for another card. I know Chase is out, so I'm not looking there. Amex Prime Business is going away, so that will free up an Amex slot.

I don’t see you getting approved for anything now , you probably have a shit load of inquiries…
