I just wanted to post two positive experiences with Elon customer service as it relates to the Fidelity Visa.

First, this card is a no brainer for any expense you would otherwise get less than 2% cash back on. Anything I don’t charge to my Amazon Chase (5-6%) or AMEX Blue Preferred (Groceries, Gas, Subscriptions 3-6%), goes on this. Cash into brokerage is just a great feature.

1st issue : I signed up for the card and accidentally went through the main page vs the offer link that gave me 15,000 points if I spent $1,000 in 3 months. Realized after I blew past the $1,000.

Called an agent. Got one right away and they told me they would look into it and respond in 10 days. About a week later I noticed the 15,000 points in my rewards balance and then got a letter saying that in addition to the reward offer, my interest rate was 0% for a year. While I pay my cards off in full monthly, it was nice knowing I had this small safety net if needed.

2nd Issue: I messed up and like a dope, set my autopay account to my brokerage account info. No clue how I did that. I think it was available from the account opening so I just chose it instead of linking my CMA account. As you can imagine, my first autopay was returned and I was assessed a $30 fee. I panicked and sent another payment quick from another account bc I have NEVER had a late payment and even though this would have been a day not 30, I still panicked.

Called again and the nicest person reversed the fee, and reviewed everything to make sure it was ok.

THIS CARD IS NOW MY FAVORITE and will be my heavy lifter.

TL;DR – made two dumb mistakes that would have cost me money and both customer service agents were quick and kind , fixing the issue right away.

Fidelity Visa (by Elon) may be my favorite card for customer service

that’s pretty solid customer service experience. i’ve had cards where they basically tell you tough luck when you mess up even small stuff like the autopay thing. getting the signup bonus retroactively is rare too – most companies would just shrug and say you missed the link

the 0% apr bonus on top was unexpected nice touch. customer service can really make or break how you feel about using a card daily
