Just pulled the latest GasBuddy numbers and we officially hit $4.229. It's wild because we basically wiped out two years of price drops in less than two months.

I know the conflict in Iran is the main driver, but seeing it visualized as a literal wall on the chart is something else. At this rate, we're definitely blowing past the 2022 record ($5.01) before Memorial Day even gets here. RIP to everyone's summer travel plans.

Is anyone seeing $5.00+ at their local station yet, or is the rest of the country still "only" at the $4.23 average?

    1. What do we imagine the ceiling is here? I just feel like with all of the economic boiling points I won’t be surprised if this hits $6.50-$7
