      This is precisely how those “forever wars” progress.

      It’s funny, when this all started it was “Oh man if oil goes to 100 that will mean recession.”

      Then:
      “If oil goes to 100 and stays there for a month or two that will mean recession.”

      Then:
      “If oil goes to 100 and stays there for three or four months that will mean recession.”

      And now:
      “What is oil even? Who cares? What do we need it for anyway? Pump pump pump”
