So I got into in accident, my side mirror broke the other drivers side mirror. I only have paint scuff. The insurance hasn't said it was my fault and the insurance is in someone eles name. My car is permanently parked at a diff address then what the issurance is listed. The insurance is asking the account holder to confirm if my car is parked at the same address they have or if its somewhere else, and the account holder need to drop me from the insurance.

Would I have to pay out of pocket for the mirror since, i will be dropped from the insurance?

Accident but car parked at different address listed

Your car is not insured dude. You’ve been paying for nothing.

The other guy doesn’t own the car and you don’t even live there so the insurance company isn’t going to pay him for it because he shouldn’t have a policy on it in the first place.

Rules like this are what stops me from getting a policy on my neighbor’s Tesla, lighting it on fire, and asking for a payout lol.

Material misrepresentation is a problem. Do not lie though, insurance will find out where it’s parked and this will become an even bigger problem. Why is your car parked at someone else’s address under their policy? You need your own policy based on where your vehicle is actually garaged. A mirror is not worth filing an insurance claim over anyways.
