Not an actual loss, but definitely this sub worthy dumb decision and something that lives rent free in my head last few months.

Almost 1.year ago I bought Intel because I liked the idea of a 3rd graphics card maker 😀

Please don’t.. reminds me of the time I had 17 contracts of intel with a strike price of 22. It expired worthless because I thought going long was foolish 😭😭

You timed the absolute bottom. Keep your head up, that takes serious skill

    4. If you didn’t sell your life would be on a different trajectory. Maybe better. Maybe worst. Would you gamble on throwing the dice to see ?

    5. Don’t beat yourself up over it. For every situation like yours there are 20 of the opposite where people lose their money. Just move on to the next one!

Did you buy all in at $30 using the inheritance money from grandma?

Damn bro, I may have bought some of your shares. My entry point was right at $22.

In all seriousness, dump some into Hovr. You won’t regret it.

I bought around $30 and sold 500 shares w CC’s at $40. It still stings.

Apparently I had around 100 shares that i sold at 21 bucks. Nothing money, but still a little lame lol

    10. I made a comment about a year ago in the WSB daily saying something along the lines of, “doesn’t it make sense that America would prop up and pump money into a local foundry like Intel to reduce reliance on Taiwan”, and it made perfect sense to me but I never took the gamble.

I rolled covered calls on Palantir for like 3 months at a loss before giving up and selling most of my shares at 60-70. Casually watched it go from $5 to almost $200 and missed 2/3 of it. Not fun.

I almost met Halle Barry once.

We were in different ***C***ountries at the time and we hadn’t made contact yet…

But the ***INT***ent was still there 😏

    13. I mean who would’ve guessed ramageddon? If I knew then I wouldn’t have sold any chip manufacturing stock.

    14. Traditional_Gap_8789 on

Selling at peace of mind prices only to watch it moon later a rite of passage we all pay tuition for

You had no idea the white house was going to turn Intel into a rigged state slot machine.

You made the right decision with the information you had at the time.
