Hi all – I’m thinking of applying for the CSR to take advantage of the 150k SUB. Ideally, I’d only like to pay the AF one time and then cancel the card. Is this possible to do without any major consequences?
For context, I already have the CSR trifecta, so I don’t think that downgrading the card is an option.
I know the impact to my credit score should be minimal, but I’m more so worried about the existing points I have on Ultimate Rewards account and those I’d get from the SUB. Will canceling before having it for the year mean Chase will reclaim the SUB points and will there be any other impacts?
Really appreciate any insight yall can give!

As long as you wait the full year you’re fine.
Easy thing is you can get a full refund on the fee within 30 days of it posting, so as soon as you see it hit. Call and cancel
If you cancel or downgrade after 366 days from account open date, there should be no consequences.
