I'm looking for someone to take a look at my must have expenses and income and generate not only a budget for me but advice on how much to contribute to each of my savings/retirement funds.

Right now I'm with Facet, but I haven't really gotten a whole lot out of it.

I have a 401k that has employee match up to 6% and I'm putting an extra 2% into it each paycheck. I moved my Roth IRA into Facet because I thought I needed someone to handle maintaning it. I hadn't looked at it since I first opened it back in 2003. Facet also opened up a bridge account for me, I also have a HYSA that I contribute to monthly and I max out my HSA every year.

I'm thinking about retiring in about 12 years, but I don't really know how much I should be striving for and if my current allocations are acceptable or if that's even possible.

Is there something out there that is like "Hey dummy this is how much of each paycheck you should be putting where, how much you should be saving for things, and for the love of god stop spending so much"

Financial Planner plus accountability person lol.

Not sure if something like this exists

Hey, I totally get what you’re looking for. Someone to just look at your numbers and tell you exactly where to put your money without all the extra fluff.

I’m actually working toward becoming a financial planner myself because I know how hard this stuff is for regular people. You’re not alone.

For now, a fee only planner could give you that one time plan. Online tools like ProjectionLab help too. And you already know where you’re overspending. Just stop. 😭😭
