The frugal markets Ive used for decades no longer exist…. The last thrift store in the area offering thrift prices has converted to 25% off retail model. Ive decided its no longer worth even going.
FB has really tanked lately as well.
My spirits are kinda crushed for second hand stuff, so I wanted to ask if flee markets and swap meets were any better. Or if their prices have gone to absurd as well. Or if its just a bunch of garbage being sold. Worth going?
Anywhere else to buy and sell second hand stuff for private use?
Are flee markets or swap meets worth going to? Or do they suck just like FB and thrift stores now?

Yeah it’s tough out there, not sure how the current flea markets are – the last time I went was about a year and a half ago and it was just overpriced junk. Wasn’t what I was accustomed to from previous visits to that same flea market. However, maybe I was too early in the season or maybe it was a bad day? Not sure.
Flee markets and swap meets are a mixed bag. Often depends on what you are looking for.
