Pay about 700 hours of it for median rent in USA
Pay about 300 hours for food
Pay about 400 hours for transportation
Pay about 200 hours for healthcare
Pay about 100 hours for entertainment
Assuming no other cost:
2000-700-400-300 -200 -100 ~ = 300 hours of work money left for everything else
You can buy approx. 600 Starbuck coffees with it which is 2 a day.. Enjoy

I read a few years ago they tried to make the stores less comfortable so people would hang out there less. Seemed like a silly idea, i haven’t been inside a store since. Amy long time starbuckers out there that remember or noticed this change? Im just curious.
I buy bougie, shade grown, bird-friendly coffee for $20 lb. Still cheaper than Starbucks burnt coffee, and orders of magnitude tastier.

This coffee isn’t even good anymore. Seriously like if you can get mcdonald’s to make you a fresh pot of coffee. It’s actually way better than Starbucks
People literally drink it because they think it bestows status upon them. I mean yes there’s a caffeine and sugar addiction element too. However, I never understood people who want you to know what coffee they drink. I don’t care.

K-Cups are around 50c, then a high quality creamer is only $2-5 for dozens of uses.
