Eating at home costs $60 with time and labor, eating out costs $56.78. Alright.

I wish it would clarify the meal. I get there may be more expensive meats like lobster or steak and if you cooked that at home compared to going out to a steak house or lobster restaurant you may get a deal. But honestly if your just making mashed potatoes, chicken legs, corn, and cut up strawberries you could do that alot cheaper at home especially if you have a crowd of 4 people or more to feed.

    2. My dinners don’t cost 60$. I shop at Costco and I know how to buy ingredients and spices in bulk. Regular grocery stores are a ripoff.

We made burritos tonight and it was maybe 20$.

It says “with time and labour” so the time and work to prep, cook and do dishes, dry and put away and clean up is included in the 60$. They are putting value on their time.

The silly thing is that they’re including labor – like I’m so busy I can’t spend 1/2 hour cooking a meal. I also don’t recall anyone paying me for doing so
