I live in a tiny apartment. No balcony. One south-facing window where I've accidentally executed three basil plants.
For a while I thought my only option was community gardens, but the waiting lists around here are pretty long. Then one day I was chatting with a neighbor while taking the trash out and mentioned I’d been trying to grow stuff but had no space. She volunteered that I should check her garden and see if I would do it because he doesn't use all of the space. I now have my own garden there, with some rosemary, oregano, dry beans, winter squash, etc.
I think lots of people would like to have someone come and grow food for them, and I feel that trust is the missing element.
Is this something that actually happens around where you live?
My monthly produce cost went to near zero

I’ve wondered if this is a thing just walking around my neighborhood! So much potential everywhere
How much do you spend on seeds, fertiliser, pots, seedling trays, mulch, stakes, gloves, forks, spades, twine, netting, etc?
I grow my own garden. I love it but it is not making my produce cost near zero. It is fun to have fresh tomatoes, fruits and stuff but it is not cheaper.
