The home is vacant but we still live in the area. We drove by this afternoon and noticed a car in the driveway and the buyer sitting at a table in our yard with her dog. A neighbor confirmed she was there hanging out for at least two hours. Never asked permission or scheduled anything. Her agent said she was driving by and wanted her dog to get a feel for the yard, but that was before she realized we knew she was there for hours.
There have been other things that have felt like a stretch or pushing the limits of the deal that I won’t get into here, but this was the first behavioral line crossing which is obviously a big deal.
It seems like our agent corrected the issue with hers and hopefully it won’t happen again, but I’m weirded out. I don’t know if she was just chilling at that table the whole time or if she did other things on the property, but we’re in the middle of due diligence negotiations, so I don’t want any extra liabilities for obvious reasons.
Buyer trespassed on our property today (NC)

Probably just excited and happy to be moving there…..pretty harmless.
