Not worth it to go into debt, don’t make the mistake me and many others made. If I could go back I’d do community college as long as I could. A degree is a degree it doesn’t matter where it’s from

Avoid expensive programs from private universities. In most careers, a degree from a random state school is worth the same, provided that it is accredited

Debt for school is fine. 300k for an undergraduate degree is not fine. Every family and person much balance the two. 100k for an engineering degree, while a lot, is doable and in the realm of being able to pay back. 80k to get an English degree is horrible plan.

Look at debt to job income. Need a rough estimate on monthly payments? Take the loan amount and multiply by 1.2%. Example 40k*1.2%=480 dollars a month payment. Can you afford that monthly payment based on the job/salary amount
