Seriously, why would anyone do that knowing there is no functional reason other than the number go up, and dependent on other people doing the same?
10 years ago Bitcoin was a promising idea, today, it’s just a tool for BlackRock and their kin to milk you for 20 years in this case. (it’ll be less if your goal is to stop at 1 BTC.)
