I’ve worked in equity research for a decade at top banks and I’ve never heard anyone in investor relations, let alone the c suite of a publicly traded company, sound as incompetent and just straight up stupid as Ryan cohen did today.
At best it just shows that cohen and GameStop are completely incompetent. At worst it suggests they’re engaging in market manipulation and fraud. I suspect it’s the latter.
