Hello all,
I had a thought come to mind and wanted to play with the idea.
With rising power demands caused by general increases in electronics usage and AI data centers, it can be inferred that we will be forced to generate more power. Trends indicate that those will be solar/wind, but nuclear continues to prove to be one of, if not the most effective, way of generating electricity.
Do you think the US will bite and start making moves towards more effective means of producing electricity, such as nuclear? And if so, which companies would you bank on being the ones eating up those contracts? Which stocks can you see being the most profitable if the US were to start shifting towards nuclear energy?
Just curious what people more educated in the stock market may think. What kind of implications do you see this having on the market as a whole?
EDIT: Im not seeking any advice, I am not investing. I just wanted to do a thought experiment and see what people who are more in tune with the market had to say. If this hypothetical played out, who do you see coming out of it on top?

Check out NUE
XE is Amazon’s backed nuclear idea, been watching that one. There’s so many it’s really too early to know
Nuclear plants takes a long time to build and are expensive, it’s just a huge hurdle.
Solar is incredibly effective, it’s storing that energy where the bottleneck is. Batteries are improving more every year though. Energy storage could be a good area to look.

Where ya been bud?
Revolutionary man. Ever heard of URA?
There are several new start up into portable nuclear energy on a truck. Do not count on current president. Need someone understand global warming, alternative energy. I forget these small nuclear energy reactor makers names and tickers.
The thing with nuclear is it takes a long time to build. Its probably the future but it would take 10 years if we started building nuke plants today. It’s also expensive to build.
Buy URA if you believe in nuclear. I’m up over 130% on it.
You have upstart companies that are working on early plans for smaller nuclear power stations. A company like OKLO inc.
