      I’m not entirely against this, if it actually moved us past the mindset of next quarter is all that matters. It leads to terrible decisions which almost always hurts the workers more than shareholders/execs.

      On the other hand, you wouldn’t get a sense of how well or poorly the company is doing for a year. Open to taking a massive loss before you can react if it’s bad news.

      Just because less frequent reporting will be allowed, dosn’t mean companies will implement it. Ultimately up to investors in the company on how frequent reporting should be if this passes.

    3. I’m skeptical of most SEC proposals regardless but absolutely do not trust any proposal coming out of the SEC under this current administration to benefit retail investors or look after their interests. The populaces 401k’s and IRA have just become dumb money piggy banks to be abused and I feel like the shoe is about to drop.
