I am tired of cards that only give you points. Sure cash back is nice but what I really want are perks that actually make my job easier as a business owner. Things like spend management, automated receipt matching, and real time expense tracking. Features that save me tine and not just money.
I have seen Ramp come up a lot when looking for something that could fit my needs. No annual fee, automated receipt capture, and controls for my team. Sounds great on paper but does it actually deliver?
Also got to take a look at the Amex Business Platinum which gets brought up a lot, has lounge access and good travels perks but almost no automation for bookkeeping. Different tool for a different job I guess.
What I really want is a card that pays for itself in time saved. I do not want to chase down receipts from my team or spend hours reconciling at the end of each month.
Does anyone have a favorite business card that actually helps with the boring operation stuff? Would love to hear what has worked for everyone. Ty!

been using one of those automated expense cards for about year now and it’s been game changer for my side contracting work. the receipt matching stuff actually works pretty well – saves me from digging through my truck looking for random home depot receipts at end of month.
can’t speak to ramp specifically but the automation features are definitely worth more than whatever cashback percentage you might be missing. especially when you got multiple people on team making purchases, being able to see everything in real time instead of waiting for statements is huge time saver.
