    •     Do you have any cards you've been looking at?
Chase Freedom Flex, C1 Savor, AMEX Blue Cash Everyday, Citi Custom Cash, received email offer C1 quicksilver $300 SUB considering
    •     Are you OK with category spending or do you want a general spending card? Either, doesn’t matter

I would like to focus on building my credit as I am a recent grad, I work for a university and am paying off my student loans, a private one which I recently refinanced from a terrible interest rate to 7.5%(which isn’t great).

I pay my cards in full and typically pay as I spend. I want to get more into the Chase system but with recent changes don’t know. Chase prime card and flex are appealing as I order Amazon once a month. CSP wouldn’t be bad but overlaps w unlimited and have 18,100 points saved.

I have recently moved my banking from Chase to C1 checking and saving buckets. My GF has the C1 Savor and has been enjoying it after accidentally starting her CC journey. I received an email with a $300 SUB from C1 Quicksilver which is tempting but don’t want a low CL which will lower my CU. Waiting to hear more abt C1 Discover merger info.

My dad has had bad experiences w/ C1 and did not recommend, but did recommend citi ecosystem which I would be interested into getting into their ecosystem. Double cash, one of the strata, or custom cash (wouldn’t know which cat)

Amex BCE is also appealing ecosystem to build into but I wouldn’t be able to keep benefits of credits. I live in Wyoming near and visit Colorado, travel from DIA to CA to visit family for holiday, drive to Jackson, WY to visit GF family. The Bilt cards are interesting, my friend has one but doesn’t like the updated cards, I do pay rent my checks which I know I can pay with bilt but system is confusing to understand if anyone would recommend and explain. Any recommendations for cards or ecosystems would be appreciated.

Card Recommendation recent grad, live in WY

With your spend pattern the Citi Custom Cash makes lot of sense – you could set it to dining since that’s where you spend most variable amount. The 5% on dining would be solid return and Citi ecosystem is pretty good for building into later.

Chase Flex is decent but with the changes to their program recently I’d probably lean toward Citi or even that C1 quicksilver offer if the SUB is worth it to you. Just make sure whatever limit they give you won’t mess up your utilization too much.
