They have all adopted Trump’s style of speaking absolute idiocy in a positive manner. “It’s obvious the economy is in great shape because people’s incomes aren’t high enough to pay for what they need so they’re going into debt for things like food and medical care, both of which are much more expensive because we destroyed the oil infrastructure and caused higher gas prices. The additional interest income will help the bank stocks go up. Instead of complaining, people should buy stock in JPM and BOA. They’ll be rich!”
Buying gas on credit is 3rd rail for me and should be for everyone.
why can’t they admit this is all bad. at some point if the economy tanks enough they’ll be affected. everyone will be affected. many of these billionaires (not all) rely on American consumerism. if people arent buying iphones and Teslas and Starbucks and homes, eventually those who think they are untouchable will be. maybe im wrong or naive, I just dont get why people double down on stupidity and things they have to know dont make sense
