I only use one to 2 tablespoons of coffee creamer per day, so it usually goes bad before I can use it all. So what I have been doing is freezing half of the creamer. However I am starting to notice that once the coffee creamer has been thawed. It seems to go bad much quicker than the original fresh half. What should I do to utilize all my coffee creamer. Should I be freezing it in bags of small amounts or maybe in ice cube trays.

Does anyone here freeze coffee creamer?

freezing it in ice cube trays is a solid move, then you can just pop out a cube when you need it. just make sure you store them in a good airtight container so they don’t absorb weird flavors in the freezer.

Use powder creamer and separate flavouring syrups. Or just freeze real cream or milk

    3. Does it have to be creamer? Half and half is generally cheaper and I just buy the pint size carton so it doesn’t go bad before I use it up. If I want flavor I use Torani sugar free syrups – those last forever.

It might not be labeled frugal but I buy the individual cups of creamer. They last a long time and I don’t have to throw out expired creamer.

    5. The 2 tablespoon Souper Cubes are perfect for stuff like this. You can definitely freeze it just like you can freeze half-and-half.

Eh, personal opinion is that you’re mistaking enjoyment of your coffee with frugality. Let’s just this all the way down- a thing of coffee creamer is 3 bucks. You use half. So you are going to the extreme to not throw away $1.50 with of product and instead nit enjoying probably $30 worth of coffee trying to save $1.50 worth of product that doesn’t freeze well. First and the trees buddy

i think freeze thaw freeze thaw for a lot of things like this could be the culprit. Definitely agree with using some sort of ice cube system to freeze individual portions and keep what doesn’t need to be used frozen. Freezing creamer is something that never crossed my mind lol, definitely going to give it a try!

It is going bad faster, there’s science but I’m lazy. Freeze it into ice cubes

I tried one time and it was gross–like it separated and wouldn’t go back? I buy the zero sugar (liquid) French Vanilla flavor. Says it’s good for 14 days after opening. I’ll use it for 15 or so but there’s a lot left. They don’t sell it in small bottles. 🤷‍♀️

I used to when coffee mate had the eggnog flavor. It is perfectly fine to defrost and use.

Powder creamer lasts longer. I used to be able to do that until I had to switch to milk alternatives. Now I use Silk Almond Creamer. Powder creamer lasts for months.
