So I just initiated a transfer from river to my bitbox and the transaction appears in my transactions as normal, listed as pending. But now all of my previous confirmed transactions are listed as pending as well. The full balance is still shown, not sure why the previous completed transactions would be listed as pending now. Has anyone ever experienced this before?
Previous Transaction to Cold Wallet are all Pending

check the txid on [https://mempool.space/](https://mempool.space/), maybe it was sent with a smaller fee, and is stuck until the backlog is cleared. You might also be able to up the fee to make it more likely to be processed faster.
If your Bitcoin transaction is stuck because the fee was set too low, you have three main options to speed it up. The best method depends on your wallet and whether you are the sender or receiver.
⚙️ Method 1: Replace-by-Fee (RBF)
This is the easiest and most recommended method, but it only works if you enabled the RBF option when you originally sent the transaction .
· How it works: You resend the exact same transaction but with a higher miner fee, replacing the stuck one .
· Action: Check your wallet for an “Increase Fee” or “Accelerate” button (common in wallets like Exodus, Electrum, and Leather) .
⛏️ Method 2: Child Pays for Parent (CPFP)
Use this if the original transaction did NOT have RBF enabled .
· How it works: A new transaction is created that “spends” the unconfirmed funds from the stuck one. Miners must confirm the first one to get the higher fee from the second .
· Who can use it:
· Sender: Works well if the stuck transaction sent “change” back to your own wallet .
· Receiver: You can speed up a transaction someone else sent you if you don’t mind paying the fee .
🚀 Method 3: Transaction Accelerator
This is a last resort if you cannot use RBF or CPFP (e.g., you have no spendable funds left) .
· How it works: A third-party service (usually a mining pool) submits your Transaction ID (TXID) directly to miners .
· Options:
· Free: Services like ViaBTC or BitTools offer limited free slots, but they fill up instantly .
· Paid: You can pay a fee (often $15–$50) for priority confirmation . Tip: Check if your wallet provider offers a built-in paid acceleration service before trusting a third-party website.
💡 What to do right now
1. Check your wallet: Look for “Accelerate,” “Bump fee,” or “Increase fee.” If it’s there, use it (Method 1) .
2. No button? If you are the receiver (expecting funds), check if your wallet allows you to “Spend unconfirmed funds” to boost the transaction (Method 2) .
3. Wait it out: If the transaction isn’t urgent, the mempool might clear in a few hours or days, and it will confirm eventually without extra cost .
I hope this helps you get your transaction confirmed. Just to be sure, are you the one who sent the transaction or are you waiting to receive it?
Sounds like a simple UI glitch or a syncing issue with the wallet’s node.
