As the title states.

I turned 18 in November, and since then I've opened 3 cards. A Chase Freedom Unlimited (for dining), Discover Student (for rotation bonuses), and an Amex Blue Cash Everyday (for gas & groceries).

What I'm trying to ask is will this hurt me in the long term? I'm sitting at a pretty good income right now while being a full time student, with a ~5000 credit limit (3000 before until I opened the amex a few days ago & chase giving me a credit limit increase), which I previously was maxing out and paying off without being late.

Credit score is sitting around ~780-810 right now.

Will I be fine as long as I don't open any new credit soon enough?

Opened 3 credit cards after I turned 18… bad idea or no?

You’re fine as long as you are not going into debt and making payments on time.

    2. All good all good, as long as you dont carry a balance. The high usage will dip your score, but as long as you dont intend on applying for anything else soon shouldnt matter. Dont credit cycle. Just pay off once a month.
