I’m in Texas. I was wanting to start a bakery stand in front of my yard. The little self service ones.
The little cottage ones.
I’m in the process of buying a home, but this is something I’m wanting to do. Are there any insurance companies that would ensure my home? I talked to Allstate and they said no because it’s not their approved business.

Reach out to a couple independent agents as there are regional carriers that *may* provide coverage. Home bakeries are tough though, so you may need to rethink the idea entirely or set up shop at a farmer’s market or roadside with separate commercial general liability coverage.
