Not building the site. Not talking to clients. Just finding businesses worth contacting. I’m looking for local businesses with no website, but doing it manually is a drag.
Anyone found a faster way?
The most boring part of freelancing is lead research.

Yeah, the research is usually the biggest time sink. If you’re targeting local businesses with no website, it’s usually less painful to narrow by category and work through map/listing results in batches instead of doing totally manual searches. A simple spreadsheet for niche, area, and contact status also helps, so you’re building on the work instead of starting from zero every time.
Just found a tool on another sub that finds local leads without websites, check out [dotless.co](http://dotless.co) exactly what it does.
