Hello! I just recently purchased a 2022 Subaru Impreza Premium hatchback, but struggled to find insurance to drive it off the lot, until the financier got Insure Express to do so immediately at $450. Since then I downloaded the Jerry app and every company that it runs rates for has rejected me, along with Geico and Allstate when I called. Progressive quoted me a good price ($350) but they said they have to do a review and verification that will take a few days. In the event that Progressive denies me, what other companies are there besides Mercury, State Farm, Dairyland, Bristol West, Geico, Progressive, and Allstate? I have 30 days to find insurance but I’m worried I won’t be able to find one that’s around $300-500/mo, which is all I can really afford. Fortunately I do not have to get an SR22, but How the hell do people with DUIs ever get insured?! My accident and reckless driving happened at a very difficult time in my life, and I’ve changed things around, but this insurance game is holding me back from actually pursuing certain jobs I’m qualified for! Any help is greatly appreciated!

That’s part of the punishment for reckless behaviour.
Find an independent agent to shop around for you. Be upfront and honest. Clearly you understand you’re in the find out stage and insurance companies have every right to be wary of someone with your history.
As much as I hate to say this … You’re gonna be screwed for awhile. That reckless is a 8p hit. And they don’t take that shit lightly.
Next time you’re in a jam to get something to get off a lot and at the base minimum home…. Look up Hugo insurance thru play store. Every option in there from 1 day to a month at a time. Not the cheapest, but certainly better than sitting for hours itching to drive your new car. And the 1 dag thing … Just enough to get ya home. Used it recently to get my new car home all legal like and was a good thing to when I got followed by a cop…. And he had nothing….
