      What’s the opposite of addictive? i.e. what’s the issue with being addictive? That’s a sign of quality in my opinion.

      Addictive and spying on users? Dude has this judge been on social media? I got sad for five minutes today over my failing Kickstarter. I opened TikTok and it immediately showed me a depression ad. It’s like that thing not only listens and sees, but pulls every possible data point from my existence to figure out how I am and how to exploit it with ads. Netflix, I just try to find something for five minutes, get bored, then get sucked back into TikTok.

      There are way worse than Netflix, I watch Netflix maybe once a week, the short videos are the real problem.

      So a nothingburger lawsuit that will be thrown out eventually, because his vague description of what he perceive as addicting could literally be applied to staring at a fucking tree that you find interesting for too long. With that said, I have no stakes in this so it’d be hilarious that it somehow goes to court and open a can of worms for every single company that owns a social media and video streaming platform subsidiary. It’s like .1% chance, but the funniest thing could happen
