I recently graduated and started a new job, and I’m looking to open another credit card.
Currently, I have a discover student it, and capital savor one.
My biggest expense is transit/commute (~$400/month), food, retail shopping.
I pay off my credit cards monthly, so I’m not too worried about interest or APR, but a low one would be ideal. More-so prefer a lower annual fee.
I don’t travel much in terms of flights and hotels— maybe 1-2 domestic flights a year. As for monthly bills, I really only have student loans to pay off, 1-2 utilities, and a few subscriptions here and there.
Looking for some options with good cash backs, points, and/or miles rewards (keeping an entry level salary in mind)?
Also looking for only bank credit cards.

chase freedom unlimited might be good option for you since it’s flat 1.5% on everything and no annual fee 💳 the transit spending is pretty high so maybe look into cards with bonus categories that rotate too 😂
If you live in a bigger city and like to go out and drink a lot during the weekends and such the amex gold card isnt bad, but also inorganically tryjng to use the credits to make the $300 AF worth it may counter that also though if you are in a bigger city its not super hard to organically use those credits, but i wouldnt go for the card if you dont want to pay the fee.
