Cap1 did announce sometime this month or next you won’t be able to change or get new designs for your cards. I’m curious where the it/nhl card fits as well; They also took away the 5% on nhl shop if you had one of those designs.and the early/separate entry and 5% off at six flags; cap1 also loses money on the venture x with it 395, $300 travel credit and 10,000 miles but they did just remove lounge access for families.
My biggest worry is the savor changing with the quicksilver changing (rumored to only change with those that switch to discover) their venture x special perks and their annual bonus, Savor has to change earnings (hopefully not too much if at all, or discover it at some point. 2x on everything for venture and vx isn’t sustainable either.
Citi removing their transfer ability (right now it is to anyone at all that expire 90 days after transfer) hopeful it will be changed to (at least household or spouse) Chase and us bank now require cash deposit into their deposit accounts or as an au to transfer partners.
Chase also is bleeding majorly from the Hyatt partnership and the seemingly self-inflicted wound from the reserve rollout; won’t be good for them either.
Hyatt will launch a premium card (possibly stay at category 4 with all of the tiers, pull an IHG and gut the new and old cards, or benefits will be like the soon to be refreshed Hilton aspire card with diamond now being mid-tier status and Marriott being all over the place…) Alaska will most likely offer a higher cost card next year above the summit or move the summit up and make something mid tier like AA did with the Globe, especially with Alaska and American’s super close relationship.
Highly unlikely at this point, USBAR will actually get travel partners since it’s almost been 6 months of silence (Korean air seems like the biggest profile partner since they issue their cards, as terrible as they may be).
Wells Fargo could be a dark horse but with their high and mid tier card exactly the same (there may be an annual $50 travel credit on the journey) except sign up bonuses is also odd.
Sonesta could also dip their toes into the water with their footprint growing everyday.
What do you think is most likely to least likely?

Quite a bit of speculation, interested in why you think the aspire will be refreshed. If anything they’ll cap the FNA and call it a day.
